This was way funnier, I had to post it!
But you get a real entry too, so it's like a "two-fer". Just go with it.
So I survived the week. Certainly not without some bumps and scrapes, but as I sit here on a Saturday in the JML, I'm smiling. I feel relieved. I know, a weird one, but it's better than referring to the infamous Harmony Class Finals Week Comic. I'm probably in denial about life.
Yesterday to today was a friggin rollercoaster and a half. Even though Hist and Lit was cancelled, Tarin and I realized that would be a great time to study because we'd be awake and doing things anyway. I had just enough time to get changed and get over to Choral Methods. Class was so weird - many of the lab choir members were getting quite edgy in their questions. I understand it can be frustrating, but I guess that means they care enough to get frustrated. After class I went in to talk to Feldman. I think lately his patience has been wearing thin, and even though the situation has been taken care of, I think he grew disappointed in me. You have to blatantly suck at life for that to happen. Great...
I then grew even stupider that afternoon. I said "yes" to too many plans before the Sea Symphony concert, and I could have royally screwed up everyone's evening. I had this anxiety towards my cell phone I guess, and in an effort to help out Kim and Tyler get to the rental car place, I messed up quality time with my best friend and almost missed dinner with my boyfriend and his mom. I'm glad I could help people out, but I feel terrible it ended up being at the expense of others. Em and Max, I'm sorry I'm blonde and thank you both so much for putting up with my stupid crap.
"Din with the BF and the BFP" went really well. At least I thought it did. Ellen is a really sweet person, and I was so happy I got to meet her yesterday. I just hope she doesn't think I'm completely psycho. Mom and Aunt Kathy met up with us at dinner, so I got to spend time with everyone before the concert (Sidenote: does anyone know why there were two campus security officers on the third floor of Kohler and a cop car sitting outside before the concert?).
The concert itself was awesome too. Some things worked themselves out, while some other areas kinda went silly that werent' problems before. Alas. At least we no longer have to behold the seas with its' heaving breast. After the concert on the way to Kaitlin's party, my mom, aunt and i had a good laugh about the quite sexual interpretation you could take with Wittman's work. Kaitlin seemed to really really like her penguin, so good idea boys!
Today I woke up late, but the fam and I went to Dicks adn the Mall (where they were having a major "dancer-gone-retarded" competition!" and the CC before they went home. They're hilarious to hang out with. And I got uber amounts of Clinique make up. The brought presents with them too for me - Happy Bunny Socks "Can't Listen, You're Dumb", and Slippers! And I still had time to get here on time!
Until next time, ~"Kathlene" (that's a good fam story if you ever want to ask)
